We install and operate charging infrastructure powered by renewable energy-delivering cleaner, more connected, and uncompromising mobility. Our mission is simple: make the electric transition smooth, reliable, and sustainable for everyone.

STORY

Electrip was founded in 2023 from the partnership of two world-class companies: Wren House, a global infrastructure investor and Zorlu Energy, a leading Turkish energy company.

Today we're rapidly expanding, delivering high-impact projects across Europe: from shopping centers to highway corridors, public parking lots to commercial properties.

In 2025, we launched Electrip Solar - our division dedicated to developing photovoltaic systems that power our charging network and supply clean energy to third parties.

Nicola De Sanctis

Chairperson

Nicola de Sanctis has more than 35 years of vast experience in different sectors and also on academic environment.

He has worked for Waste Management, public utility sectors; mergers and acquisitions, energy efficiency and renewables.

He acted as the CEO of Edison Renewables, E.ON Italy, Iren, Acquedotto Pugliese. Sanctis has been appointed as the Chairperson of Electrip Global LTD as of 2023.

Ömer Yüngül

Vice Chairperson

Born in İzmir in 1955, Ömer Yüngül graduated from Boğaziçi University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1978.

Starting off his career at the construction company Tekfen İnşaat, Yüngül filled various managerial posts in Metaş, Faz Elektrik, and Merloni Elettrodomestici. In 1997,he joined Zorlu Holding as the General Manager of Vestel White Goods and became the Chairman of Vestel’s Executive Committee in 2000.

After serving in this role for 15 years, he was appointed as the CEO of Zorlu Holding in 2013.

Following his retirement in June 2024, after 11 years in this position, he continued as a Board Member of Zorlu Holding, a role he has held since 2022. As of March 2025, he has been reappointed as the CEO of Zorlu Holding. As of April2025, Yüngül was also appointed as the CEO of the Vestel Group of Companies.

 

Fluent in English and Italian, Ömer Yüngül is married and has one child.

Benedetto De Biasio

Board Member

Benedetto De Biasio holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bologna.

Benedetto De Biasio is involved in the origination,execution and asset management of investments, with a focus on the Communityand Energy Transition infrastructure sectors and supports the originationeffort in Southern Europe for WrenHouse. Benedetto is also Board Director of Almaviva, Voyage Care.

Benedetto has been appointed as the Board Member ofElectrip Global LTD as of 2022.

Bekir Cem Köksal

Board Member

Cem Köksal holds a degree from Mechanical Engineering Department of Boğaziçi University in 1988. Following post-graduate work inBilkent University, he filled various positions at different levels in İnterbank from 1990-1997 and in Denizbank from 1997-2002. Köksal has been the Financial Affairs Group Head in Zorlu Holding since 2002. Köksal has been appointed as the Board Member of Electrip Global LTD as of 2023.

Elif Yener

Board Member

Elif Yener graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University in 2004 and received her MBA degree from Columbia University in 2011. She joined Zorlu Holding in 2011; after serving indifferent levels under Finance department, she has been appointed as the General Manager of Financial Affairs in July 1, 2019. Yener also serves as the CFO of Electrip Global Limited since 2022. As of January 1, 2025, Elif Yener has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Zorlu Energy Group.

Gab Barbaro

Board Member

Gab Barbaro holds an MBA degree from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Law from Monash University, Melbourne. Mr. Barbaro is the managing director of Wren House LTD and focuses on asset management across the portfolio and is a Board Director of North Sea Midstream Partners, DCLI, Electrip Global and i3Broadband. Barbaro has been appointed as the Board Member of Electrip Global LTD as of 2022.

He has over 20 years executive and consulting experience, working with large corporates to drive performance improvement.

Martin Torres

Board Member

Martin is a Managing Director and Head of Americas for WrenHouse, based in New York. Martin is involved in all aspects of managing theWren House business in the Americas, as well as involvement in the origination,execution and asset management of investments across the region with global responsibility for Energy Transition. Martin joined Wren House in February 2023 from BlackRock, where he spent nearly 7 years, latterly as Head of the Americasfor the Climate Infrastructure Group.

 

Prior to joining BlackRock, Martin spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley, covering a range of roles including direct renewable energy investments and project financing. Earlier in his career, Martin worked for Merrill Lynch and Citigroup in various structured financing roles. Martin has aBSc In Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, andJuris Doctor from the Law School of University of Pennsylvania.

İnanç Salman

CEO

İnanç Salman graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and received his master's degree from Istanbul Technical University in 2006.
Salman joined Zorlu Group in 2004 and Zorlu Energy Group in 2007. After working in various functions in Energy Group.
İnanç Salman was appointed as the General Manager Responsible for Trade on September 1st, 2020. Salman also serves as the Managing Director in Electrip group companies as of 2023. Since January 1, 2025, he has been Chief Executive Officer of Electrip Global.

Ali Damirchi

CFO

Ali Damirchi holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and is a CIMA-qualified accountant (ACMA).
He has over 20 years’ experience in finance leadership across telecommunications, infrastructure and technology.

Before joining Electrip Global in 2025, he was CFO at Connect Fibre UK and held senior roles at Arqiva, Smart DCC, CTIL and Hutchison 3G Ireland. He has extensive experience in capital raising, debt structuring and financial transformation for PE-backed, high-growth businesses.

At Electrip, Ali leads finance strategy, funding and reporting across Europe and the solar business. He drives the company’s capital-raising, business planning and finance transformation to support expansion in EV charging and renewable energy infrastructure.

Rakel Darsa

CEO Office Director

Rakel Darsa graduated from the Travel Management program jointly conducted by Boğaziçi University and Deulcom International (1994–1996).
She began her professional career at Setur Tourism (1996–1997) in the Incoming Department, followed by a role as Operations and Incoming Department Manager at Pamfilya Tourism (1997–2001).

Between 2001 and 2006, she served as Deputy Commercial Attaché at the Commercial Attaché Office of the Consulate General of Israel in Istanbul. In 2006, she joined Zorlu Energy as the company’s Israel Representative and has continued to serve as Country Manager for Israel. Since April 2024, she has also been serving as CEO Office Director at Electrip.

Burçin Açan

Business Innovation Director

Burçin Açan holds a BSc and MSc in Electronics &Telecommunications Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and an MBAfrom Boğaziçi University. He has over 25 years of experience intelecommunications, digital innovation, and energy sectors, including seniorroles at Nortel Networks, Turkcell, and Türk Telekom, where he pioneeredTurkey's first mobile payment service, M2M platform, and integrated Smart CityPlatform.

Açan joined Zorlu Energy in 2017 to lead digitalization efforts across electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, andsmart energy systems. As Assistant General Manager of Smart Systems, he helped establish ZES as Turkey's leading charge point operator and supported its expansion to 7 countries as Electrip. As Business Innovation Director, he now leads strategic initiatives in pricing, commercial policy, new business development, and R&D to drive innovation and revenue growth.

Bora Selcanoğlu

Technology & Digital Solutions Director

Bora Selcanoğlu serves as Technology & Digital Solutions Director at Electrip Global, where he leads the company’s digital transformation and technology strategy. With extensive experience in IT/OT integration, smart energy systems, and Industry 4.0 architectures, he has built a strong track record in designing scalable digital infrastructures. His previous roles involved driving innovation across data platforms, operational technologies, and connected industrial environments. At Electrip Global, Selcanoğlu oversees the development of digital products, cyber-security frameworks, and end-to-end technology ecosystems supporting EV charging and mobility services. His work focuses on boosting operational efficiency, enabling data-driven decision-making, and accelerating the shift toward intelligent, sustainable energy networks.

Ebru Düzgüngü

Finance Director

Ebru Düzgüngü is a certified ACCA professional with a solid background in international finance and corporate governance. She has developed deep expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning across multinational environments. Before joining Electrip Global, she held progressive roles in finance and accounting functions, managing complex regulatory, tax, and audit frameworks. As Finance Director for Electrip Global in Turkey, she oversees financial operations, risk management, and compliance, ensuring robust financial discipline during the company’s expansion. Her role also includes steering investment decisions and supporting large-scale infrastructure growth. Ebru combines strong analytical capabilities with a hands-on leadership style essential for high-growth energy and mobility sectors.

Giovanni Fornaro

Global Marketing & Partnership Director

Giovanni Fornaro after studies in law at the UniversitàCattolica di Milano got a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication. Hehas extensive experience in strategic sales, marketing, business development,and international partnerships, having held senior roles in leadingmultinational companies including Tesla, ALD Automotive, and Volkswagen Group.At Tesla, he contributed to the opening of the brand in Italy and in SouthEurope.

In 2021, Giovanni joined Electrip Global as Country Managerfor Italy, where he opened the country and oversaw market development andstrategic operations in the field of sustainable mobility. With a deepunderstanding of the automotive and EV sectors in Europe, he is recognized forhis ability to connect industry trends with actionable strategies, drivingsustainable transformation across organizations and markets.

Claire Mesnier

Human Resources Director

Claire Mesnier graduated from HEC Paris with a major in Management Control and Organizational Consulting and received her DESS in Human Resources from Université Paris Dauphine in 2001. With over 15 years of experience in human resources across automotive and high-performance industries, Mesnier held various HR leadership roles at Renault Group and Alpine F1 Team. She was appointed VP Human Resources for Alpine in February 2021, leading talent acquisition and organizational transformation with a strong focus on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. In 2024, she founded Off The Beaten Track Ventures, advising senior leadership on organizational design in high-growth, regulated environments. Since 2024, she has been HR Director of Electrip Global.

Andrea Casartelli

Country Manager Italia

Andrea Casartelli is a seasoned energy executive with over two decades of experience, currently serving as Country Manager at Electrip Italy.

He leads Italy's EV charging infrastructure expansion, focusing on high-power DC solutions and strategic B2B, B2G and retail partnerships across the Italian market.

Previously, Andrea led EDP Energia Italia from inception, building a solar-focused retail business that achieved over 50 MW in assets within two years. He held senior roles at Edison S.p.A., including Head of National Institutional Affairs and Head of Operations at Edison Energia, where he redesigned core billing processes and managed strategic planning for international ventures.

He holds a degree in Social and Economic Disciplines from Bocconi University and is active in the Bocconi Alumni Association Energy Topic. His core competencies span energy trading, retail strategy, institutional affairs and operations management.

Nagihan Ok

Nagihan Ok ha oltre 13 anni di vasta esperienza nel settore energetico. Possiede una doppia laurea in Ingegneria Industriale e Business Administration presso l'Istanbul Kultur University e un Master in Financial Economics presso la Galatasaray University. Nel corso della sua carriera, ha lavorato nei mercati energetici, nello sviluppo e pianificazione delle energie rinnovabili, nell'e-mobility e nell'espansione del business regionale nell'Europa centrale e orientale. Ok è entrata in Electrip Global Croatia nel 2022 come Head of Operations & Sales e dal 2024 è stata nominata Country Manager.

Dimitar Novkov

Country Manager Bulgaria

Dimitar Novkov holds a degree from the Technical University of Sofia, bringing a strong academic foundation in engineering and automotive systems. He has developed extensive experience in the after-sales and automotive management sector, building a demonstrated history of working with large OEMs and service networks. In his current role as Country Manager for Bulgaria at Electrip Global, he is responsible for driving market growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and overseeing operations across the Bulgarian charging-mobility business. Dimitar leads commercial, technical and operational functions, ensuring alignment with Electrip’s expansion strategy in Eastern Europe. His leadership is characterised by combining technical expertise with customer-centric service development and rollout of electric mobility infrastructure.

Elcin Trakadas

Elcin Trakadas holds a Master's degree in Petroleum &Gas Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. She has extensiveexperience in real estate and investment management, holding senior positionsat international companies including Blackstone Inc., Multi CorporationNetherlands, and Jones Lang LaSalle UK, where she served as Director ofInvestments for award-winning mega real estate projects.

In 2016, Trakadas was elected Head of the Steering Committeefor Istanbul New Airport while serving as Deputy General Manager of HeinemannDuty Free Group. She joined Electrip Global as Country Manager for Greece in2021, leading market development and strategic operations.

Arkadiusz Miętkiewicz

Arkadiusz Miętkiewicz hasover 25 years of experience in the automotive and e-mobility industries,specializing in market expansion, dealer network development, and strategicbusiness transformation.He holds a degree in International Trade from the Warsaw School of Economicsand completed postgraduate studies at Kozminski University. Before joiningElectrip nearly three years ago, he held senior management positions at SEAT,BYD, and British Automotive Polska S.A., including roles as Managing Directorand Executive Vice President for Jaguar and Land Rover in Poland.As Country Manager for Poland, he is responsible for operations and growthstrategy, overseeing business development, charging network expansion, and keycommercial partnerships. Under his management, Electrip continues to expand itsEV charging network in Poland, supporting the country’s transition towardsustainable and accessible electric mobility.

Meena Louka

He has over a decade ofexperience in strategic growth and commercial acceleration across Europe andthe Middle East, spanning telecommunications, luxury (LVMH), and automotivesectors, including leadership roles at Mercedes-Benz and Tesla.

Louka joined Electrip in 2023 as Country Manager for France,where he is responsible for market development, strategic partnerships, andoperational performance. Multilingual and internationally oriented, he isrecognized for his pragmatic leadership and ability to deliver high-impactresults in competitive environments.

Özge Şerbetçi

Legal Manager

Özge Şerbetçi holds a law degree from İstanbul Bilgi University. As a legal manager of Electrip Global, she provides comprehensive legal and regulatory support to Electrip Global group companies in the establishment and operation of the companies, overseeing corporate governance, regulatory matters, contractual frameworks, and compliance with local and EU legislation. Working closely with the local teams in Electrip group companies, she coordinates legal documentation for Electrip’s market entry, investment structuring, and operational rollout, ensuring alignment with group-level policies and cross-border corporate standards. In her capacity as the Board Secretary, Özge Şerbetçi coordinates and attends board meetings of Electrip Global and its group companies, ensures accurate minute-taking, prepares and manages legal documentation, and facilitates effective communication between board members and executive leadership.
